Math: Pg. 283 Q 5-8
Design Challenge: Students examined the solar panels and motors to see what they are working with in developing their car. Tomorrow, students will have the iPads available to continue doing research. Make sure you get going on this, it took my class last year several months to build working (for some people) cars. Axles and figuring out a way to connect the moving part of the motor to them will likely be your biggest challenge. Socials: We will pick up on this soon. I really enjoy getting into these great discussions about development and inequality throughout the world. Some of you put forth amazing questions and comments. For the rest of you, I know those questions and ideas are in your heads. Never be afraid to take a shot.

Disapeared: "There is a line in front of her. One more step on behalf of Linda and her life will change forever. How does she decide between safety and the risk that comes from doing what her heart knows to be right (138)?" In 3-5 sentences, discuss how fear influences her decision to step over the metaphorical line before her. Design Challenge: In addition to the regular write-up, I will be selecting 3 finalists from the boats that entered into the competition. You will have to select which one will be ultimately selected as the winner. You will have to provide justification for why that boat is the best for the job based on the criteria provided.
