Just a friendly reminder that Journal Entry #2 is due today.
Please make sure you are sharing your docs with me. I have about a third of them shared with me so far.
Please also make sure they are titled: Reader Response and Living History Journal REMEMBER Journal Entry #1 is due today at 3pm. Make sure you are submitting it through MS Teams and be sure to hit Turn In. If you are running into trouble with anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Here is the PowerPoint from this morning
Here you will find the Math textbook available for download in two files. You will need to check the Math tab daily for updates. This will include videos, handouts and assignments as well as answers keys.
Ok. Not sure what happened here. No one actually did the work provided yesterday in the form of the questions. This is problematic.
For today, I would like everyone to go back to yesterday's post and comment on the two questions. In MS Teams, you will find that there is a new tab for the Living History Journal. You will need to review it. As I mentioned, there was a slight change to the final version of the assignment. There are also examples of how to complete each part of the assignment that is mandatory. There is also a two minute video which I would like you to watch. You can find them all under the files tab at the top of the page. There will be a class meeting on Tuesday at 900am for everyone that you will be invited to later today. Generally we will not start that early but I have a staff meeting at 10am. Please make sure your microphone is muted, your camera is off and you have reviewed all the documents for the Living History Journal for that meeting. I will post in the class website daily by 10am every day. Please ensure you are checking it, your MS TEAMS and your Office 365 email daily. You will notice some additions/changes to the website. I will get stuff set up in Teams ASAP. I have just about been able to connect with everyone, which is great! Please take a look at the French tab, this can also be used for Spanish is that is your plan next year. Also, try to keep active during these times. The link to PE with Joe is great and really has helped me since Fin share it with me. Down below you will find downloads for the first and second half of the Math textbook. In the event that you haven't taken your textbook home, it is here for you digitally. Thanks to Sara for the great find! Questions: 1) Assume that in the future there will be huge leaps in human augmentation (for example, changing your body with technology). Given a scale from completely human to completely machine, how far would you choose to augment yourself with robotics? What parts would you augment and why? 2) Take a look at this CBC article https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/manitoba-physical-distancing-orders-stay-apart-1.5525156 What do you think about the idea of punishing people through fines for not following social distancing rules? Is this fair or should be be allowed to do what they want? (Remember to provide justification for your responses)
