Well today is Friday the 13th! Scary stuff, if you believe in that sort of thing.
We have been working on a number of projects all week and so, I haven't worried about posting but, as they are coming to a close, I will leave this reminder for everyone over the weekend. Skits will be due Thursday. Science projects are due Monday but, you will have all day Monday to put the finishing touches on them. Design Challenge Reports will due through the completion of of ONE DOCUMENT in Office 365 by end of day on Thursday, Dec 19. Language Arts projects of either the Newspaper or the Journal are due Thursday, Dec 19. You will have time to work on these throughout next week but please, do not procrastinate. Question: Many people are superstitious about different things. Do you think there is any validity (truth) to these superstitions or is it all in peoples' heads? Music: The dance they have been working on is coming along quite nicely. I am sure you will all enjoy it during the concert.
Deathwatch: Another chapter down. Will Ben survive the onslaught of Madec? Language Arts: try to have your writing done sooner than later. Design Challenge: You will need to work productively over the next week. Science: things seem to be coming together nicely. This will be due on Monday December 16th, please make sure that you are on pace to finish on time. Question: What causes the most harm in the world, but is completely avoidable? Math: We are beginning to look at comparing and ordering fractions with like and unlike denominators.
Skits: many groups have now moved to the editing stage. I am looking forward to the final product when we watch them on Monday. Deathwatch: what will happen next? French: outstanding performance by all on their "Je me presente" paragraphs. Design Challenge: We start building tomorrow. You will need to have your materials for tomorrow. I put this on the board last week so there should be no confusion about this. Question: Is justice a human idea or is it independent of humans? Deathwatch: We read chapters 2&3 today. If you were away, you will need to borrow a book and get caught up.
Language Arts: Students were working on their newspapers or journals. Design Challenge: students worked in their groups to finalize the 3 possible solutions and Best Possible Solution is due for Wednesday. Materials need to be here for Thursday. Math: We went over conversions of fractions to decimals and the concept of repeating and terminating decimals. Pg 88-90 Q 1-13 except 11 are due tomorrow. French: Presentations of your paragraphs will be done on Wednesday. If you have questions about the pronunciation of any of the words, please see me. Question: If all your memories were erased, what kind of person would you be? |
